Job Description As a Kitchen Steward, you are the foundation of our culinary operation. You are the start and the finish of every culinary journey - ensuring our kitchens are clean, organised and compliant, so our chefs can perform at their best and our guests can enjoy exceptional dining experiences. This is a hands-on role where consistency, care and attention to detail matter. You’ll work behind the scenes to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene across all kitchen and back-of-house areas. Key Responsibilities: Wash, clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery and glassware in line with HACCP and food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchens, stewarding areas, cool rooms and back-of-house spaces. Support chefs by ensuring equipment and work areas are clean, stocked and ready for service. Assist with waste management, recycling and sustainable practices in line with hotel procedures. Follow and uphold all HACCP requirements including cleaning schedules and chemical handling. Identify and report maintenance or safety issues to ensure a safe working environment. Work collaboratively with culinary and stewarding teams to support smooth service flow.
