Position Outline As part of the Connor Crew, you are responsible for supporting your store, store team, and manager. This is achieved by having a customer first mentality outfitting our customers with confidence, style and comfort as well as providing exceptional store presentation through efficiently carrying out operational tasks, by self and/or through the performance of others. Actively uses Connor CLASS selling techniques and product knowledge to sell, outfit and service to the customers needs and wants. Contributes to the delivery of store sales and KPI benchmarks by delivering on personal targets and influencing the crew with their individual contributions. Records daily and weekly data into the stores red book (sales journal) to collaborate with the store manager. Identifies, plans, and completes store operational tasks to enhance both sales and the customers instore experience. Multi tasks where necessary and understands the pace and urgency of our business. Upskills self by attending training sessions, completing Dayforce learning, mirroring coaching and seeking feedback. Is a mentor to others as required. Takes an interest in fashion and current trends. Knowledge shares with fellow crew, coaching and developing them with any identified areas of opportunity. Always act with the companies best interest in mind. Any other performance task as required within skill and competency. Operations Understands Connor operations, AP21, store procedures and processes. Personally, uses Dayforce to its full potential including updating leave, clocking on and off, completing learning activities, approving shifts etc. Encourages and supports the crew with compliance of their Dayforce requirements. Understands rostering processes and uses Dayforce to construct rosters, manage approvals and time sheets in the absence of the manager. Actively identifies, communicates, delegates and/or performs instore daily operational tasks, procedures, and processes. Understands that retail is detail! Supports and delivers on visual merchandising direction and standards. Delivers WTF excellence. (WTF = windows, tables, front racks). Actively supports and delivers on instore housekeeping and has pride of store. Understands and follows with integrity all internal and external security processes. Reports immediately any integrity concerns. Uses care and integrity with transactions, data entry and cash handling. Stock is the hero, efficiently and accurately processes stock deliveries including receipting, reworking, storing, and displaying of product Prioritises best sellers in line with direction, always, in size and category. Efficiently and accurately processes markdowns, click `n collect, ship from store and customer orders etc as required. Supports store and team in preparation for stock takes, completes with diligence and accuracy. Proactively identifies hazards and escalates any reported issues as required. Builds team awareness of WH&S and supports compliance with safety protocols and procedures to provide a safe working environment for all.
