Position Outline As a leader of the Connor crew, you are responsible for supporting your store and the store crew. This is achieved by having a customer first mentality outfitting our customers with confidence, style and comfort as well as providing exceptional store presentation through efficiently carrying out operational tasks, by self and through the performance of others. Actions and direction to crew represent a customer first mentality always (customers are always our priority). Ensure the store crew are product experts. Educates on current trends, products, features, and benefits, alterations and fitting. Actively leads by example using Connor CLASS selling techniques and product knowledge to sell, outfit and service the customers needs and wants. Manages and delivers on store sales and KPI benchmarks, is reactive to company promotional activity and seasonality. Understands how commission is calculated and paid. Ensures that the crew also understand this. Commission is obtained with complete integrity. Sets clear targets and goals, daily, weekly monthly etc. for individuals and store. Clearly communicates current sales goals with the crew and reflects/communicates on past performance. Ensures crew performance is to standard, fosters a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement. Provides development plans and/or correctional plans as necessary to nurture and develop opportunity areas. Records weekly data in the stores red book (sales journal) and uses that data to action and implement decision making. Identifies, plans, and completes store operational tasks to enhance sales and the customers instore experience. Multi tasks where necessary. Upskills self and others by attending training sessions, completing Dayforce learning, mirroring, coaching, and seeking feedback. Prioritises time to share knowledge. Is up to date with fashion and current trends. Makes decisions and implements them with the companies’ best interest in mind. Any other performance task as required within skill and competency. Operations Understands Connor operations, AP21, store procedures and processes. Enforces use of Dayforce to its full potential including updating of availabilities, clocking on/off, completing learning activities, recruiting, rostering and approval functions etc. Understands hours use, rostering processes and ensures crew are rostered by performance, seeks approval for additional hours and any overtime required. Actively identifies, plans, prioritises, delegates and/or performs instore daily operational tasks, procedures, and processes to ensure store is Customer ready. Spot checks knowledge and integrity of transactions, data entry and cash handling. Understands and follows with integrity all internal and external security processes. Corrects crew where necessary and/or reports immediately any concerns. Leads with excellence in WTF presentation and actively supports and delivers on instore visual merchandising presentation. (WTF = windows, tables, front rack). Visual merchandising detail and standards are executed as prescribed, within a timely manner and with any exceptions having been collaborated with the line manager. Delivers on instore housekeeping and influences the crews pride in the upkeep of the store. Delivers WTF excellence. (WTF = windows, tables, front racks). Stock is the hero, manages stock and stock processes. Efficiently and accurately controls stock deliveries, stock receipting, reworking, storing, and displaying of product. Prioritises best sellers in line with direction, always, in size and category. Efficiently and accurately processes markdowns, click n collect, ship from store and customer orders etc as required. Manages and personally actions faulty, aged and write off products as per direction. Leads stock takes with diligence and accuracy. Is organised, methodical and thorough in preparing and executing stocktake. Store is always stock take ready! Proactively identifies hazards, solve issues and/or escalate any reported issues as required. Champions crew awareness of WH&S and reinforces compliance with safety protocols and procedures to provide a safe working environment for all. Any other operational task as directed within skill and competency.
