Description About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources Advisor within our boat manufacturing business based in the marine precinct of Coomera. A true generalist role, supporting a predominately blue-collar workforce, this is a hands on position providing an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to become a key part of our business. The HR Advisor will work closely with Factory Managers and Supervisors on a day to day basis providing practical advice across employee relations, performance management, grievances and compliance. Ideal work times would be 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, however we are flexible to discuss further. To be successful in this role, you will: Have experience in a Manufacturing, construction or similar blue-collar environment (preferred) Incredibly strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive projects and collaborate with large teams. Provide guidance and support to our staff on all HR related matters across the employee lifecycle Champion our processes and provide support to leaders relating to performance management frameworks and procedures Take ownership of analysing monthly HR Metrics, tracking data to identify areas of improvement. Drive identified HR initiatives through the business You will thrive in a fast-paced work environment, with the ability to juggle multiple competing tasks Skills And Experiences What we are looking for: Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field will be highly desirable but not essential Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, negotiate and build strong relationships across all levels of the business. Team player with a commitment to working collaboratively Great problem solving skills, you will thrive on thinking outside the box. A background in manufacturing, construction, blue collar businesses would be highly regarded Payroll and HR Systems exposure would also be highly regarded.
