About your opportunity: The Orthopaedic Operating Theatre Clinical Nurse will provide direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients/clients and nursing staff within the unit to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care. This position also supports the clinical requirements, rostering, ordering of clinical consumables and education of staff across both the elective and orthopaedic trauma theatres. The role is essential in the co-ordination of loan instrumentation and consultation with the Elective Surgery Bookings Officer for Orthopaedics. This role will also assist with the co-ordination of orthopaedic Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) patients when implemented. The successful candidate must have current experience working within an orthopaedic operating theatre. The successful candidate will be required to work varying shift lengths ranging from 6, 8, 9 & 10 in addition to the requirement to participate in an On Call roster. This is a fixed term temporary full-time position, commencing 06/03/2026 to 05/03/2027.
