About the Role This part-time role involves ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the school by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal or nominated delegate to ensure the school remains a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Key responsibilities include: Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, toilet facilities, and common areas. Maintaining and cleaning equipment, including dusting, vacuuming, and floor polishing. Disposing of rubbish and ensuring litter control across the school grounds. Activating and deactivating security systems, as well as locking and unlocking buildings. Liaising with the Principal or Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies and reporting safety or security concerns. This role would suit a motivated and reliable individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff. About You The following traits would be beneficial: Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication skills for liaising with school staff and reporting issues.
