In the role of Service Coordinator, you will coordinate and manage the operations of a workshop team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance, servicing and inspection of plant and equipment for internal and selected external customers. You will manage the allocation of work and workflow within the workshop (including field service activities) through effective and timely consultation with projects or eams and ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will actively promote and improve safe work practices in both workshop and field service environments. Mandatory qualifications and conditions- Relevant trade-based qualification (e.g. Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology).- Experience in a supervisory role with at least 5 years' experience as a tradesperson.- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.- Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.- A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the operational unit and/or the State. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel. Desirable requirements- MR class driver's licence.
