Services are delivered across our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, Kilmore District Hospital, and Mernda Community Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.  About the Role This role provides high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to children and families across the Paediatric Feeding Service and the Developmental Paediatrics Clinics. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will deliver specialist assessment and intervention for children with feeding, swallowing, and communication difficulties, supporting optimal outcomes through family-centred care.  As a Grade 2 clinician, you will demonstrate advanced clinical skills and leadership by supervising and mentoring students and junior staff, contributing to quality improvement and service development initiatives, and promoting best practice within the paediatric speech pathology team. Flexibility to work across Northern Health campuses and partner organisations is required.  This role is responsible for: Delivering evidence-based assessment and intervention for children with feeding, swallowing, and communication disorders across the Paediatric Feeding Service and Developmental Paediatrics Clinics Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, including Dietetics and Developmental Paediatrics, to provide coordinated, family-centred care that achieves optimal outcomes for children and families. Supporting the supervision, teaching, and professional development of students and junior staff, fostering a positive and evidence-informed learning environment. Participating in quality improvement, service development, and professional growth activities to enhance clinical outcomes and advance paediatric speech pathology services at Northern Health.  To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience and sound knowledge in paediatric feeding, swallowing, and communication assessment and intervention. Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, family-centred care. Demonstrated skills in supervision, mentoring, and supporting the professional growth of others. Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
