Senior Project Coordinator Salary: $138,631 - $185,518 (Plus Superannuation) Fixed term role: until 30 June 2027 Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available) Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available) The Role A Senior Project Coordinator is required to support the Investment Facilitation team to implement actions identified in the Sustainable Data Centre Action Plan. Main accountabilities: Providing specialist advice on statutory approvals requirements and processes for development and land-use investment proposals in Victoria. Statutory approvals coordination of the full range of state, commonwealth and local government approvals and facilitating negotiations with the relevant regulators. A site identification service offered to investors seeking to acquire or lease properties for industrial, commercial or retail operations. Providing advice on infrastructure and utility services including the provision and cost of access to electricity, gas, water and transport. The Team The position of Senior Project Coordinator forms a part of the Industry, Trade and Investment Services branch within the Industry, Trade and Investment group. This position is within the Investment Facilitation team which has a lead role in facilitating and managing investment projects across all industry sectors, particularly those complex projects requiring extensive cross government coordination and negotiation. About You The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: Highly developed organisation and project management skills, including attention to detail, the ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate tasks and expertise in using project management methodologies and tools to track progress. Extensive experience across government working with central agencies, departments/agencies and regulators on complex and priority projects, with demonstrated experience in negotiation and resolution and a good understanding of the utility and regulatory requirements of data centres. Highly developed strategic and analytical skills, including demonstrated experience and capability to identify and address emerging issues, develop and drive solutions in the assessment of data centre projects.
