We are partnering with a large, well established mining organisation seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their site based team on an 18-month fixed term contract. This is a hands on, operational HR role where you’ll work closely with frontline leaders to support people strategy, employee relations, and culture across a busy mining operation. This opportunity will suit a strong HR generalist who enjoys being on site, building trusted relationships, and working through complex matters with confidence and sound judgement. About the Role Reporting to the HR Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, providing both strategic and day to day HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll play a key role in case management, leadership coaching, employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and the delivery of HR programs aligned to site objectives. This is a fast paced, highly operational role offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on people and culture. Key Responsibilities Partner with frontline leaders to provide practical HR advice and coaching Manage employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary processes Support performance management, conduct, leave and attendance matters Deliver leadership development, engagement and wellbeing initiatives Coordinate HR activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding Contribute to HR reporting, workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives Support the implementation of site based HR strategies and cultural programs About You Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) Minimum 6 years’ experience in a HR generalist role, ideally within mining, energy or a similar operational environment Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and relevant industrial instruments (Black Coal Award experience highly regarded) Proven experience managing complex ER and IR matters Confident communicator with the ability to influence, coach and build trusted relationships Highly organised with strong attention to detail and written communication skills Experience with HR systems such as SAP or SuccessFactors is advantageous Current driver’s licence What’s on Offer 18-month fixed term contract in a site based HR role Opportunity to work closely with operational leaders and influence culture Exposure to a large, established mining organisation Competitive remuneration and comprehensive employee benefits Flexible work arrangements and strong wellbeing support Apply now or reach out for a confidential chat with Ariella Razif on 0421 507 689 or email ariella.razif@e73.com.au.
