POSITION QA/QC Officer LOCATION Private Royal Estate - United Arab Emirates (The client will arrange work visa and relocation if not local) PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The QA/QC Officer is responsible for implementing and managing quality assurance and quality control procedures across all estate-related construction, maintenance, and engineering projects. The role ensures that all works—structural, architectural, MEP, and finishes—are executed in full compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and UAE standards. The position requires cross-departmental collaboration to uphold workmanship integrity, material quality, and consistent adherence to regulatory and estate standards. QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field (mandatory) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) (advantageous) ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification Familiarity with UAE and Middle East safety regulations Valid UAE Driver's Licence National Police Clearance (mandatory) EXPERIENCE 4-6 years of experience in QA/QC roles within luxury construction, high-end fit-out, or engineering environments Proven experience developing, implementing, and monitoring Quality Management Systems (QMS) Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 compliance and documentation processes Experience in design-build environments and multidisciplinary coordination Competence in quality control software and data reporting tools KEY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE Quality Assurance (QA) Establishes quality standards, processes, and procedures to prevent defects and maintain consistency Identifies and mitigates risks to ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and palace standards Quality Control (QC) Conducts inspections of materials, workmanship, and completed works to verify adherence to project specifications Performs snagging and de-snagging across civil, MEP, and finishing trades Testing & Verification Evaluates materials and products through laboratory and field testing (e.g., strength, corrosion, thermal conductivity) Oversees selection, testing, and approval of materials in line with project requirements Collaboration & Coordination Works closely with engineering, construction, fabrication, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues Coordinates corrective and preventive actions promptly and documents findings accurately Documentation & Reporting Maintains inspection reports, non-conformance logs, and compliance documentation Ensures detailed quality records are maintained for audits and management review Soft Skills & Professional Conduct Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and precision in record-keeping Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a high-profile estate environment START DATE As soon as possible SALARY AED 4,000 - 6,000 (Depending on experience) BENEFITS Shared accommodation provided by the company Health insurance One economy flight per annum 30 days' paid annual leave Please check your email inbox—and your junk folder—in case our reply to your application is filtered there.
