Azure DevOps Engineer - 6 Month Contract We're recruiting a hands-on Azure DevOps Engineer to support a major Azure environment on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. This role is delivery-focused and suits someone who is comfortable being deep in the tools, owning pipelines, and enabling large-scale Azure migrations through Infrastructure as Code. Key Responsibilities Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Design and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Bicep (non-negotiable) Support and execute on-prem to Azure migration activities Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment management Work closely with cloud, platform, and security teams to support delivery Troubleshoot pipeline, deployment, and environment issues end-to-end Key Requirements Strong commercial experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer Bicep experience is mandatory - this role will not consider alternatives Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts) Proven experience supporting Azure migration projects Solid understanding of Azure services (Networking, Compute, Storage, IAM) Experience working in enterprise or large-scale cloud environments Contract Details 6-month initial contract Competitive daily rate Hybrid / flexible working (location dependent) Immediate or short notice starters preferred
