We are currently recruiting for multiple Chef positions and are seeking accomplished professionals with a passion for crafting exceptional dining experiences using the finest locally sourced seafood. Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per annum (Multiple positions available) Role: Full time Location: Gooseberry Hill, WA 6076 Main Duties: Plan, prepare, and supervise the cooking and presentation of dishes, actively participating in food preparation and plating to ensure consistent quality, presentation, and adherence to established recipes and standards. Design and refine menu items, focusing on seasonal and locally sourced seafood options. Conduct regular quality checks on food, presentation, and portion sizes, adjusting as necessary to exceed customer expectations. Monitor food supplies and ingredients, manage stock levels, order ingredients as needed, and minimize wastage while adhering to budgetary constraints. Plan and coordinate daily food preparation schedules to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Manage kitchen expenses, including food costs and Labor, to meet financial goals while maintaining the quality of the menu. Cater to a range of dietary needs, such as gluten-free and vegetarian options, to accommodate special guest requests Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and mentorship to maintain a cohesive and efficient team. Ensure the kitchen meets all food safety regulations, maintaining high cleanliness standards Skills & Qualifications: Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualifications. At least 1-2 year of professional experience in a busy kitchen environment. Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management procedures. Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of kitchen staff. Creativity and passion for developing new dishes and menu items.
