As Team Leader - Casework, you will specifically: Demonstrate cultural capability and/or a commitment to developing cultural capability to ensure an inclusive culture that aligns with the Human Rights Act 2019 and supports departmental programs and community partnerships aimed at preserving cultural connections for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Supervise a team of professional staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality youth justice client support services in accordance with relevant legislative provisions and departmental policies, practice standards and procedures. Ensure that all members of the work team contribute to, implement, and maintain the client case management, planning and review processes with an emphasis on coordinated and integrated service response. Allocate, prioritise and quality assure individual tasks. Oversee the suicide risk management process in Youth Detention. Provide on-going recruitment, selection, development and culturally appropriate supervision and leadership to members. Provide expert advice and assistance on complex client support matters Participate as a member of the Youth Detention Centre team and contribute to strategic and operational planning, reviews and key decision-making. Develop collaborative, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate cooperation on case related matters. Assist in identifying trends and issues in client service delivery and evaluating client outcomes, including performance reporting, to ensure coordinated local service delivery. * Allocate, prioritise and perform tasks in accordance with departmental procedures and financial and administrative delegations.
