Our services support adults and families through accommodation, case management, assertive outreach, financial assistance, community connection and referral pathways. About the role As a Lived Experience Support Worker, you will draw on your own journey of overcoming homelessness to provide hope, connection and practical support to people currently navigating similar challenges. Working alongside case managers, you will help clients engage in recovery-focused activities, build confidence and feel supported as they work toward their goals. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Katherine, NT, reporting to the Team Leader. Pay is in accordance with SCHADS Level 3 Award. How you will make an impact Provide opportunities for clients to engage in activities and recovery-focused programs. Provide transport for clients participating in the program. Maintain regular communication with the team to ensure consistent support. Build and maintain professional, respectful relationships with participants. Respond appropriately to incidents that impact client safety and wellbeing, following site procedures. Contribute to a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for all clients. What you will bring Lived experience of homelessness and an understanding of what supports recovery. Experience supporting people experiencing homelessness (including volunteer work). Willingness to learn and participate in co-facilitation of groups. A current NT driver’s licence.
