POSITION | UAE Nursery Manager | VVIP Private Estate LOCATION Middle East | Abu Dhabi (The Client will arrange the work visa and provide relocation if not local) PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Nursery Manager is responsible for the overall operational management, quality control, and leadership of the Nursery, ensuring the highest standards of childcare, safety, and organisation within a private palace environment. This role requires a hands-on, structured, and nurturing leader who can manage staff, schedules, supplies, and compliance while creating a warm, engaging, and development-focused environment for children. QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field Relevant Nursery / Childcare Management certification highly regarded First Aid, CPR, and Child Safety certifications (mandatory or required upon employment) EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years' experienc e working in a nursery, preschool, school, or private childcare environment Proven experience in a Nursery Manager, Head of Nursery, or Senior Childcare Supervisor role Experience working with private families, VIP, or high-profile households strongly preferred Demonstrated experience managing staff rotas, supplies, and daily operations KEY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE Strong leadership and staff management capability Excellent organisational and planning skills In-depth knowledge of child welfare, safety, hygiene, and early learning standards Ability to manage budgets, requisitions, and inventory responsibly Calm, patient, and nurturing personality Clear communication and reporting skills High level of discretion and professionalism Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic environment ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Nursery Operations Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nursery, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-structured environment Prepare and manage weekly and monthly staff rotas, ensuring appropriate coverage at all times Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance Review and approve nursery r equisitions and supply requests, ensuring accuracy, necessity, and cost control Conduct regular inventory checks of toys, learning materials, and consumables Ensure all nursery equipment and materials are well-maintained and age-appropriate Staff Supervision & Development Supervise, mentor, and support nursery assistants and caregivers Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback Identify training needs and coordinate development opportunities with HR Foster a collaborative, respectful, and accountable team culture Child Welfare & Quality Assurance Ensure all children receive consistent, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care Maintain daily routines that support emotional, physical, and educational development Enforce strict hygiene, safety, and child protection standards Address feedback or concerns promptly and implement corrective actions Regularly observe staff-child interactions to ensure quality standards are met Communication & Reporting Act as the primary liaison between the Nursery, HR, and senior household management Provide regular updates and reports on nursery operations, staffing, and supplies Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with household procedures SALARY Salary AED 20,000 - 21,000 Tax free in UAE BENEFITS Flight ticket home every year Experience leading nursery teams or head teacher Car and fuel provided No accommodation supplied Please note: Kindly check your junk or spam mail folders after applying, as our response to your application may occasionally be diverted there.
