We are partnering with a close-knit, well-established brokerage in Brisbane CBD to appoint an experienced Senior Account Manager or Account Manager as they strengthen their general insurance account management capability. This is a purely account management role, suited to a quality broker who enjoys long-term client relationships, proactive portfolio management, and delivering consistent, high-quality service without new business pressure. Benefits: Competitive salary $150k to $190k super bonus Supportive, experienced leadership with clear structure Broker Assistant and Account Executive support In-house claims support Stable, close-knit team environment Focus on servicing and renewals rather than new business The role: Manage a diverse general insurance portfolio across: Property owners Hospitality Manufacturing Retail Deliver end-to-end account management including renewals, market placement, and client servicing Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive portfolio management Work closely with internal Account Executives, Assistants, and claims support in a team of 5 (growing) Collaborate with insurers and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored insurance solutions About you: Tier 1 qualification required (Diploma desirable) Minimum 10 years’ experience managing a general insurance portfolio Proven experience across a broad mix of general insurance risks Strong client relationship management and communication skills Highly organised, proactive, and service-focused Collaborative working style and positive contribution to team culture Hiring timeline: Interviews are launching now.
