With a busy bistro service and steady weekend trade, the hotel is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join its kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for a cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced pub environment and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality meals. Key Duties & Responsibilities Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with menu and service standards Ensuring consistency in taste, portion control, and presentation Assisting with daily food preparation and kitchen operations Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness Receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients correctly Assisting with stock rotation and minimising food wastage Working collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods Assisting with preparation for functions and peak trade Following WHS and food safety procedures at all times Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and safe About You Relevant cookery qualification or equivalent experience Experience working in a pub, hotel, or busy kitchen environment Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to work well under pressure and in a team Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends What We Offer Secure full-time position Supportive team environment Opportunity to work in a well-regarded Blue Mountains venue Competitive salary based on experience Click “Apply for this job” to register your interest for this fulltime salaried opportunity with a salary of $76K-$80K plus super
