Our client, a leading top-tier Australian investment company based in the CBD, is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operational processes, accurate portfolio management, and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Perform daily cash, position, and transaction reconciliations across custodians, brokers, and internal systems, promptly investigating and resolving breaks. Support trade settlement processes by confirming trade details, liaising with custodians, and ensuring timely and accurate settlement. Process payments, internal transfers, and FX instructions while maintaining strong controls and audit trails. Assist with updating unit prices, validating pricing inputs, and preparing portfolio valuation and holdings reports. Record and reconcile investment cashflows including trades, distributions, corporate actions, capital returns, and redemptions. Support investor onboarding and exit processes, including KYC/AML checks, application processing, and documentation management. Monitor operational inboxes for settlement notices, corporate actions, custodian updates, and trade‑related queries. Maintain internal registers and update investment databases to ensure accurate and timely data capture. Assist with month‑end reporting by preparing reconciliations, gathering data, and investigating variances. Liaise with custodians, fund administrators, brokers, and internal teams to resolve outstanding operational items. Contribute to process improvements by updating workflow documentation, refining checklists, and identifying efficiency opportunities. Perform basic compliance and control checks to ensure documentation and processes meet internal and regulatory standards.
