Part-Time Bookkeeper – Belmont Area 3 Days per Week | $38 per Hour Super We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team based in the Belmont area , working Monday, Wednesday and Friday . This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across bookkeeping, payroll and general office support in a practical, fast-moving environment. Role Details Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm Location: Belmont Pay Rate: $38 per hour superannuation Software Utilised MYOB AccountRight (primary system – may transition to Xero in future) Simpro job management software Microsoft Excel Outlook Email Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Finance Recording daily financial transactions in MYOB Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR) Processing supplier invoices and purchase orders Sending customer statements Reconciling supplier statements in Simpro and MYOB Bank reconciliations, including monthly credit card reconciliations Weekly payroll processing and payroll record maintenance Preparing financial reports (profit & loss, balance sheet, budgets) Monitoring cash flow and preparing bank deposits Assisting with GST/BAS reporting Note: BAS is prepared quarterly by a registered agent and lodged internally – registration is not required for this role Administrative & Office Support General office administration and record keeping (digital and physical) Answering and directing phone calls Assisting with scheduling site staff to jobs in Simpro Loading occasional work orders into Simpro Responding to financial and internal enquiries Supporting audits, budgeting and ad-hoc tasks as required Essential Skills & Experience Proven bookkeeping experience Strong proficiency in MYOB and/or Xero Confidence using Excel and Microsoft Office Previous exposure to Simpro or similar job management software (highly regarded) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Excellent organisational and time-management skills What We’re Looking For This role will suit someone who: Enjoys autonomy and responsibility Is practical, reliable and detail-focused Is comfortable supporting both finance and office operations Wants stable part-time hours with long-term potential Apply online and become part of our growing workforce or send your resume and tickets to Jobs@LocalWorkforceHire.com.au.
