Key Responsibilities - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for mobile and portable generator solutions - Build a strong pipeline of prospects across the hire, construction, events, and industrial sectors - Conduct product demonstrations and site visits to showcase the capabilities of our generator range - Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations tailored to client needs - Negotiate commercial terms and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets - Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target markets - Collaborate with internal teams including technical support, logistics, and customer service - Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities - Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to the Sales Manager - Travel regularly between Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane to meet clients and attend industry events What You'll Need to Be Successful - 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally in generators, hire equipment, industrial power, or related technical products - Hunger and drive to succeed in a new business development role - Technical mindset with ability to understand and communicate product specifications - Strong communication and relationship-building skills - Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently - Willingness to travel extensively across NSW, VIC, and QLD - Valid driver's license and professional presentation - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred - Enthusiasm for learning and openness to coaching and development
