Communication is primarily with the supervisor and the encompasses all staff within the multidisciplinary team including nursing, allied health and administration. About the unit: Parklands Residential Aged Care Facility is a health service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service and is supported by the Rural Hospitals Group. The facility provides service delivery to 70 residents. The McCarthy high care frail aged unit has 40 beds including one community respite. Our Nautilus unit has 30 beds for mobile wandering residents requiring care within a secure unit, Nautilus includes two community respite beds.
