Renowned for delivering high-quality outcomes across civil and structural engineering, they are continuing to invest in their Flood & Water capability and are now seeking an Associate or Associate Director to join their Sydney team. This is a genuine leadership opportunity for an experienced flood or water engineer looking to take ownership of complex projects, influence strategy, and help shape the future direction of a growing team. The Role In this senior position, you will lead projects from concept through to delivery, balancing technical excellence with commercial and client outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the design and delivery of flood and water engineering projects across urban and infrastructure sectors Taking responsibility for project governance, including budgets, resourcing, contracts, and timelines Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on repeat business Mentoring and developing junior and mid-level engineers Contributing to bids, tenders, and broader strategic planning within the flood and water discipline About You You will be a confident, commercially minded leader with: A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline) CPEng accreditation 10 years’ experience in an Australian engineering consultancy environment Proven experience delivering complex flood or water infrastructure projects Strong client-facing capability and sound commercial judgement Why Join This Firm?
