About the role and where you will be working: This is a max‑term position, contracted until August 2026 with the possibility of extension, based in Rivervale, WA. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Consultant, the Quality Support Nurse plays a crucial role in supporting evidence-based clinical practice, delivering education, and enhancing clinical capability across our Residential, Home Care, Mental Health & Disability services. You will partner closely with Operational, Quality, WHS, IT, and Learning & Development teams to strengthen clinical competence, support quality improvement initiatives, and assist in preparing services for accreditation. This is a dynamic, hands‑on role involving travel across multiple sites. Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses considered. To be considered for this role, you’ll need: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role and demonstrate extensive knowledge of contemporary clinical and nursing best practice, supported by current clinical competencies and credentials. They will bring a strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and a proven ability to teach, mentor, support, and develop staff across aged care, mental health, and disability services. Highly developed communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build collaborative relationships, liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders, and navigate challenging situations professionally. The successful applicant will be an agent for positive culture and change, possess solid computer literacy across MS Office and relevant clinical software, and maintain a strong commitment to risk management, reporting, and adherence to work health and safety requirements.
