The Position Step into a role leading a talented team of 4 marketing professionals orchestrating high impact events and driving sales through innovative, industry leading approaches. Establish yourself as the guardian of a brand ensuring the approach and voice across all touchpoints is consistent and planned. You will manage a budget and enjoy the responsibility to; Manage the event strategy that directly drives sales growth across the expanding network Lead product launches for cutting-edge coatings – market innovation not just commodities Build and mentor the marketing team creating an environment where talented marketers contribute ideas that fuel expansion Champion and protect the APC brand Organise and coordinate trade days, yearly events and promotional activities Collaborate with internal clients including sales and product to inform strategy Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, vendors and media partners Your Background You’re someone who’s led marketing teams and genuinely enjoys developing others. You are an exceptional event planner who knows that well-executed trade days create experiences that build relationships and generate opportunities. Ideal skills and experience include; Proven experience leading a marketing team Strong event planning and execution background – B:B customer experiences Experience with product launches and taking new products to the market Background in trade products, FMCG, industrial industries highly regarded Deep understanding of brand management Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
