We’re on the hunt for an experienced Head of Events, Reservations & Guest Experience to lead our reservations and events function across Shell House and The International, two of Sydney’s most iconic hospitality destinations. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives on driving sales performance, inspiring teams and delivering standout guest experiences at scale. The Opportunity This role sits at the intersection of commercial sales leadership, people leadership and guest experience excellence. You’ll own the reservations and events strategy end-to-end — from first enquiry through to post-event follow-up — ensuring every interaction feels seamless, premium and unmistakably “Point”. You’ll lead and mentor a high-performing team, build strong corporate and VIP relationships, and identify new revenue opportunities across events, reservations and upselling initiatives. What You’ll Be Doing Leadership & Team Performance Lead, coach and develop high-performing reservations and events teams across multiple venues Set clear expectations, KPIs and performance standards, with a strong focus on accountability and growth Build capability through training, SOPs and best-practice systems Sales & Revenue Growth Drive reservation and event sales through smart strategy, upselling and yield management Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, partners and high-value guests Collaborate closely with Marketing to promote events, packages and revenue-driving initiatives Guest Experience Excellence Own the end-to-end guest journey — from enquiry to follow-up — ensuring a polished, consistent experience every time Embed feedback loops and continuous improvement to drive loyalty and repeat business Champion service standards that align with The Point Group’s premium brand values Strategy, Reporting & Commercial Insight Track performance, revenue and conversion metrics, providing regular insights to senior leadership Set and manage budgets, forecasts and cost controls to optimise profitability Use data to inform smarter decisions and future growth opportunities About You You’re a confident hospitality leader with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine passion for guest experience. You know how to motivate teams, close sales, and create systems that actually work on the floor. You’ll bring: Proven leadership experience in events, reservations, sales or guest experience within hospitality Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue and conversion Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with high standards and attention to detail Experience working across multi-venue or high-volume environments (highly regarded) Why Join The Point Group?
