The newly created role of Senior Architect, Retail & Mixed Use will be an integral and instrumental function for the strategic delivery of retail growth for the business. The role will add value for the business unit’s key internal and external stakeholders through effective design solutions, communications and presentations. You will make an impact by: Develop master plans that maximise asset value and long‑term portfolio potential. Provide strategic design expertise to support an expanding retail and mixed‑use portfolio. Build capacity to deliver a growing and complex project pipeline. Lead technical inputs to secure internal and statutory approvals. Streamline development and design workflows to improve efficiency and reduce external reliance. Translate concept ideas into clear, purpose‑fit documentation and drawings. Maintain project momentum by meeting key milestones and deadlines. Engage stakeholders effectively, presenting and influencing design outcomes. Uphold design quality, standards, and compliance across all work. Identify and mitigate design risks to safeguard delivery outcomes. About You You’re an experienced Senior Architect with 8–10 years’ experience on the owner/client side, passionate about retail design and skilled at translating concepts into practical, buildable solutions. You will have: A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Property and/or Design discipline. Software Skills: Moderate- to expert- level in Adobe CS, CAD/BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit), 3D modelling tools & sketch tools (Sketch-up, Enscape, Morpholio Trace) Built-form experience: Strong understanding of building systems, materials, structural concepts and relevant codes and standards Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
