The Role The Senior Officer Regulatory Authority Support provides professional advice and technical expertise to enable quality programs, practices and policies in education and care services and support the sector and authorised officers (and other relevant regulatory authority staff) to implement the NQF. This role is full time and fixed-term (until 06 November 2026) at ACECQA Band 5 ($103,179 - $122,039). The key duties of the position include Key Accountabilities • Adhere to the spirit and practice of ACECQA's Code of Conduct, build an inclusive and agile performance culture, and role model ACECQA's values and behaviours. • Provide professional advice and technical expertise relevant to the role and contribute to the overall success of the team in line with its core purpose. • Deliver assigned tasks and functions, which may include assessing excellent rating applications and preparing decision notices, contributing to projects that promote exceptional practice, conducting research projects and providing advice, producing and/or delivering professional development programs, and producing support materials and resources. • Draft briefs, reports, correspondence, presentations, updates, guidelines, information sheets and FAQs for the ACECQA Executive, Board and external stakeholders. • Contribute to effective working relationships with peak organisations, the Australian Government, state and territory regulatory authorities, and other external key stakeholders. • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff across the organisation. • Other duties as required.
