An established engineering and design consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join its Brisbane-based team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of civil, infrastructure, and large-site projects within a collaborative and technically strong environment. As a Senior Civil Designer, you will play a key role in delivering civil and infrastructure projects from concept through to construction. Working closely with engineers and project managers, you will lead detailed design and 3D modelling outputs while ensuring quality, compliance, and constructability across all deliverables. Responsibilities Deliver civil designs and detailed drawings using Civil 3D (preferred) or 12D, supported by AutoCAD Develop and manage 3D models including surfaces, corridors, alignments, long sections, and cross sections Produce design documentation for roads, bulk earthworks, drainage, stormwater, and site grading works Prepare concept layouts, feasibility-level options, and detailed design documentation Review and interpret survey, geotechnical, and background data to ensure model accuracy Coordinate design inputs with engineers and multidisciplinary teams, supporting junior designers where required Skills and Experience 5-8 years’ experience as a Civil Designer within consultancy or infrastructure environments Strong proficiency in Civil 3D or 12D, with solid AutoCAD capability Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale civil design packages Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, Queensland/local authority requirements, and Safety in Design principles High attention to detail with strong time management and problem-solving skills Collaborative, professional, and comfortable managing multiple project priorities What’s on offer Competitive salary package aligned with technical capability and experience Exposure to a diverse pipeline of civil and large-site projects Clear pathways for career development and career progression Modern design systems, tools, and flexible working arrangements If you are interested, please click Apply or for a confidential conversation, please contact on Rachael@resourcefulrecruitment.com.au
