About the role: We’re looking for a proactive Assistant Buyer with strong supply chain and production experience to manage the end-to-end production and supply of apparel and merchandise for key clients. In this dynamic role and hands on role, managing offshore production and suppliers, you’ll assist with purchase orders, sample approvals, and product data management to ensure all projects run smoothly from concept to delivery. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with offshore suppliers and factories, coordinating production schedules, pricing, and timelines. Track sample development, approvals, and product quality with the production team. Prepare and manage purchase orders in ERP systems and monitor order status, shipments, and delivery. Maintain accurate product data including styles, colours, sizing, and costs. Assist in reporting on stock levels, supplier performance, and trends. Ensure compliance with quality standards and accurate import documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates). Support internal stakeholders across sales, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery from concept to client delivery. To be successful you will have 3–5 years’ experience in assistant buying, supply chain coordination, production, or merchandise operations (apparel or branded merchandise preferred). Proven experience managing offshore suppliers and production timelines. Strong understanding of international shipping, customs, and lead times. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems Strong communication skills and ability to work across time zones when required.
