Support Services for Children (SSC) Branch is seeking a suitably qualified Health Professional to provide early intervention and prevention services to ACT children, young people and their families and provide services to children with developmental delays. As a Team Leader you will report to the Centre Director and work closely with Team Leaders from the other Centres and the broader management team to provide clinical supervision, mentoring and support of workers within the Child and Family Centres, as well as contributing to the professional learning strategies that enhance staff competencies in working with children and families. The position will participate in the development and maintenance of government and community partnerships, program planning, review and evaluation and will be an active member of the management team within the Branch. Eligibility/Other requirements: Social Work degree or Psychology with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers or the Australian Psychological Board, plus a minimum of three years practice experience in are levant field. Other relevant degrees will be seriously considered including Early Childhood Teaching/ Education or Community Education/ Development with a focus on child development. Background check will be conducted. Educational, suitability and professional qualification checks may be carried out prior to employment. Current Driver’s license essential.
