A leading manufacturing facility in Benalla is seeking a Work Instructions Specialist to support the development of high‑quality operational documentation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, clarity, and collaboration - and who enjoys turning complex processes into easy‑to‑follow instructions that keep people safe and productive. About the Role As the Work Instructions Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and maintaining clear, accurate, and standardised work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Your work will directly support safety, quality, and operational consistency across the site. You'll work closely with operators, supervisors, and cross‑functional teams to ensure all processes are documented correctly and reflect real‑world practices on the factory floor. Expereince in a role similar would be highly adventageous. Working hours will be 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday - the role will begin as casual, however full-time hours will be required. There may be potential for the role to transition to permanent after a qualifying period, for the right candidate - however this is not guaranteed. Key Responsibilities Develop, write, and update work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation in line with company standards Observe shop‑floor activities to translate real practices into clear, user‑friendly documentation Ensure all documentation meets industrial standards, safety requirements, and PPE guidelines Maintain document control, version management, and continuous improvement of existing procedures Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments Solid understanding of SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong questioning and validation skills to ensure accuracy and clarity Familiarity with workplace safety standards, PPE requirements, and safe work practices High attention to detail and strong organisational skills To apply, please click the 'APPLY NOW' or email your resume to wangaratta@recruitmentselect.com.au.
