VCAT The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. About the Role This role will provide leadership and operational support to the VCAT Family Violence and Disability Liaison teams. The teams provide support in accessing VCAT and Rental Dispute Resolution Victoria (RDRV) with a focus on safety and equality. You will work closely with VCAT's Support Services teams, Service Delivery Group and Regional Services Team, in addition to the newly established Rental Dispute Resolution Victoria (RDRV). The Operations Lead provides specialist guidance and support surrounding the management of complex client presentations and service delivery innovation, education and awareness. This role is responsible for developing key stakeholder connections across the Victorian Service sector. This position involves a regular on-site presence and travel to other locations as required. You will manage service delivery of the VCAT Family Violence and Disability Liaison teams and apply specialist, practical expertise surrounding the effective management of complex presentations in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements. You will be responsible for: leading coaching and supervision of staff, with a focus on team and individual performance excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development establishing collaborative relationships with external support agencies to enable effective community service partnerships managing the recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of program staff contributing towards a shared learning culture across VCAT and RDRV. About You The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the leadership, management and development of multidisciplinary support staff and teams. You will also posses: sound theoretical and practical expertise in working with people presenting with complex accessibility needs and those who have experienced and/ or are using family violence incorporating; risk assessment, safety planning and management demonstrated understanding of the Family Violence Protection Act 2008, MARAM Risk Assessment and Management Framework and relevant capabilities demonstrated capability in developing effective stakeholder relationships An understanding of relevant VCAT legislation (ie Residential Tenancies Act and Guardianship and Administration Act and VCAT Act, will be considered highly desirable.
