The Manager, Operational Resilience plays a key role in supporting the Senior Manager, Operational Resilience to embed and strengthen operational resilience across the AMP group. This is achieved through 4 key pillars: Maintain an effective Operational Resilience Framework Ensuring implementation and embedment across the organisation Disruption readiness and response management Scenario testing and continuous improvement How will you make an impact Strengthen AMP’s Operational Resilience (also referred to as Business Continuity Management or Business Resilience Supporting Critical Operations: Maintain and uplift guidance for the management of critical operations; including how to identify critical operations, complete process maps, map dependencies and set tolerance levels. Provide guidance and support to business units so they can effectively manage their critical operations and be prepared for disruptions. Incident and Disruption Management: Help coordinate and lead responses to major disruptions and crises with timely escalation, clear communication and efficient recovery. Maintain a robust AMP BCP, assess disruption impacts to customers and business units, and provide insights to senior leadership on lessons learned. Scenario Testing: Design and execute scenario tests, develop severe but plausible scenarios and facilitate group walkthroughs and live simulations with senior leadership to test the BU’s disruption readiness and ability to effectively and efficiently respond to disruptions. Findings and recommendations presented in a report. Regulatory and Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with CPS230 – Operational Risk Management and the AMP Resilience Policy. Support audits, reviews, and reporting. What you will bring to the role In depth understanding of Business Continuity Management and CPS 230. Certifications such as CBCI, MBCI, or ISO 22301 (or willingness to obtain). Proven experience in risk management, audit, or assurance within financial services. Knowledge of financial services industry, regulators (ASIC, APRA, OAIC, ASD) and relevant legislation. Ability to design and lead scenario testing programs. Highly proficient in PowerPoint and creating visually appealing designs. Professional and concise report writing skills.
