The IP&AD Branch is the application development engine for the AEC, enabling federal and industrial elections through a range of applications. As a Test Analyst (APS5), you will collaborate with experienced practitioners and benefit from training, hands-on learning, and ongoing development. The Test Analyst will actively develop, test, execute, and report the delivery of ongoing regression testing and functional testing aligned to the Agile Scrum and Sprint delivery processes. The role is responsible for undertaking very complex and/or sensitive work, under broad direction, utilising expertise across a range of activities relating to the integration, functionality and fit for purpose of software applications. The Test Analyst key responsibilities include working within BAU test and development teams to understand the scope of product releases and assist the team to develop acceptance criteria based on business objectives, functional requirements, and service level requirements. You will Assist with the development and maintenance of test plans, test scenarios and/or test cases with a high level of attention to detail, while undertaking testing activities including functional, integration and regression testing for each release cycle. To excel you'll have: Proven experience in software testing, including test case design, execution, and reporting. Solid understanding of the software development life cycles Communication skills to be part of a positive team culture.
