Position: Environmental Advisor – Contaminated Land Location: Perth, WA Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 About the Role: As an Environmental Consultant with our client, a leading environmental consultancy in Australia, you'll focus on office-based tasks including analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, specialising in contaminated land. Responsibilities include leading state-wide intrusive investigations, conducting sit inspections, and preparing technical reports for environmental assessments. Your role will utilise expertise in contaminated land guidance to inform decisions and solutions. Key Responsibilities: Support the project and teams on complex projects. Preparing technical reports and proposals, ensuring accurate cost calculations. Travel throughout the state to undertake surveys, often in remote locations for extended survey periods, but always considering your work/life balance. Key Criteria: Degree qualification in environmental science or ecology discipline, zoology Significant experience consulting experience as an environmental scientist / Advisor within the contaminated land sector. Current drivers’ licence (c class), manual preferred. 3-8 years experience in various environmental services. Proven experience in proposal development and project management and working as part of a team. Proven experience in supervision of junior team members, with the ability to mentor, and taking a leading role in field surveys. Ability to deliver critical project outcomes under pressure with enthusiasm and drive.
