As they continue to expand their portfolio and evolve their relationships with key customers across a number of segments in Australian agriculture, they are looking for a new Technical Services Specialist to assist with their product demonstration trials and customer support in Queensland. The Opportunity Working closely with the Commercial Sales and Marketing teams, this hands-on, field-based role positions you as the trusted technical specialist supporting Rural Agents, Farmers, Contractors, and Industry Advisors across the region. You’ll bring agronomic expertise together with strong relationship-building skills to deliver impactful product demonstrations, practical field training, and high-quality extension materials. Your work will directly support product stewardship and help drive the commercial success of the R&P portfolio. This role will manage existing demonstration trials throughout the region and establish new work closely aligned with the commercial objectives, with some planned travel to key customers and events in QLD. As a key technical partner to Rural Agents, you’ll provide clear agronomic guidance and commercially relevant insights, supporting joint initiatives and strengthening long-term customer confidence. The role includes regular involvement in field days, in-field demonstrations, and face-to-face training events, offering variety, autonomy, and meaningful industry engagement. About You You’ll thrive in this role if you have: A qualification in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical discipline, OR equivalent practical experience gained in the field. Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage, influence, and build professional relationships with farmers, contractors, rural retailers, and industry advisors and stakeholders. A practical, field-focused problem-solver who enjoys working hands-on and building trusted, long-term relationships. Two or more years’ experience in a technical agronomy, pasture management, or related role. Familiarity with working alongside commercial sales teams and supporting broader business objectives. Experience in a technical agronomy, pasture management, or related agricultural role, with a solid understanding of pasture systems, herbicide use, and on-farm decision making.
