About the role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Facilities professional to provide expert facilities management and lead the project management of new facilities and refurbishment projects across the organization. This role plays a critical part in delivering well-planned, cost-effective, and fit-for-purpose accommodation solutions that support business operations and long-term corporate objectives. This a contract role until June 2026. Based in Leederville, full time, Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities Plan and estimate project costs and resource requirements for accommodation and facilities services Provide input into facilities planning, prioritization, and asset support strategies Prepare appropriation requests and business cases for minor and major facilities projects Liaise, consult, and negotiate with business units and regional stakeholders to ensure responsive and efficient project delivery Engage and manage consultants, architects, and engineers through design and approval phases Project manage external contractors to successfully deliver construction and refurbishment projects Develop design briefs, specifications, and tender documentation Establish and manage contracts with service providers and panel contractors, monitoring performance and outcomes Work closely with Property Managers to align facilities requirements with organizational needs. Drive cost savings through smart accommodation strategies and space optimization Ensure accurate record keeping, compliance with corporate policies, and adherence to construction and audit requirements About you You are a highly capable facilities and project management professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a proven ability to deliver complex projects in large, commercial environments. Key skills and experience Substantial experience in project management and construction Demonstrated experience managing consultants, contractors, and diverse workgroups on large-scale projects Strong background in facilities management , including office and commercial fit-outs within a large organization Sound understanding of procurement, contracts, and best-practice facilities strategies Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills with a focus on governance, compliance, and continuous improvement This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful facilities projects while contributing to smarter, more efficient accommodation solutions across the organization.
