Nocean Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established construction group to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to support their growing finance function. This is a key role within a complex, multi-entity environment and would suit someone who enjoys working in project-based construction accounting. The Role Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate project and financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. You will work closely with project teams and senior stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations across multiple entities Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis Support project accounting including WIP, revenue recognition, cost tracking, and forecasting Maintain and improve financial controls and accounting processes Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close Work with large construction ERP systems (e.g. Jobpac) to extract, analyse, and report financial data Assist with audits, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements Partner with operational and project teams to provide financial insights and support About You Proven experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role within the construction industry Strong intercompany accounting experience in a multi-entity environment Hands-on experience with large construction ERP systems such as Jobpac (essential) Solid understanding of project-based accounting and revenue recognition CA or CPA qualification (or near completion) Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Confident communicator able to work across finance and operational teams What’s On Offer Join a stable and well-regarded construction business Exposure to complex, large-scale construction projects A collaborative finance team with long-term career opportunities Competitive salary package aligned with experience If you’re a Senior Accountant looking for their next step, who thrives off complexity, then this is an excellent opportunity to step into a high-impact role within a growing organisation!
