The Opportunity - Electrical Commissioning Supervisor You will lead the Supervision for subcontractor testing and commissioning activities for electrical plant, equipment, and associated control systems integration on a major metro infrastructure project in Western Sydney. The role ensures electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual, statutory, and operational requirements before handover to operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate on-site subcontractor activities across stations, linewide works and stabling & maintenance facilities Plan, coordinate and supervise Electrical LV services and equipment commissioning Enforce project health and safety requirements , including SWMS compliance and “Your Life Safety Rules” Collaborate with Construction Site Engineers & Supervisors to resolve issues impacting testing and commissioning programs Provide technical trouble shooting and effective coordination with Construction , HSEQ, Quality, P&E and T&C Engineering teams. Work with the Managers, Engineers and Senior Supervisors and other Supervisors to create a collaborative team environment to achieve positive outcomes. What We're Looking For Electrical Trade Certificate and Driver Licence Safety-first approach and motivate subcontractor teams to ensure delivery of exceptional outcome Experience leading and coordinating on-site subcontractor teams across complex infrastructure projects Strong background in Electrical commissioning supervision (LV) Proven commitment to health and safety , including enforcing SWMS and project safety rules Ability to work collaboratively with construction teams to identify and resolve issues impacting testing and commissioning programs Strong communication and leadership skills , with a focus on mentoring teams and coordinating with key project stakeholders.
