ConsultANZ is currently looking for a Rig Operator to join a well-established piling contractor in Sydney for upcoming projects. Main Duties You will be responsible for (but not limited to): Coordinating activities of workers engaged in piling and ground improvements for structures. Directing the workers engaged in operating machines to drive piling and sheets. In-charge of ensuring all quality assurance on-site. Enforcing all OH&S procedures. Management of staff and labour of own team and subcontractors. Requirements A successful candidate will bring into the role: Ideally, you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Operator, piling rig experience in civil projects. Experience with Bauer, Liebherr, and Soilmec is highly desirable. Strong experience in piling methods, such as CFA, bored piles, driven piles etc. Strong leadership and time management skills. A good understanding of general construction and safety workplace procedures. Self-driven and ability to work both autonomously and under supervision.
