About the Role: As our WHSE Coordinator, based in either Sydney or Dubbo, will be a pivotal force in driving safety excellence and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. You'll lead safety initiatives, develop and implement safety programs, and support our teams to maintain the highest safety standards. What You’ll Do: Travel regularly between Sydney, Dubbo, Orange, Newcastle and other regional locations as required, supporting the business units in WHSE requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain WHSE policies and programs. Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Deliver WHSE training, toolbox talks, and safety inductions. Lead incident investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain accurate safety documentation. Assist business units with WHSE reporting & corrective action reports Assist with the Management of the internal audit process for major projects and the preparation and submission to the client as required under the contract. This is a hands-on, boots on the ground position working within the business units assisting general managers, project managers & project engineers in a fast-moving work environment. You will be promoting and supporting a strong work health, safety and environment culture across our workforce. What We’re Looking For Qualifications in Health and Safety or another related field. Demonstrated experience within electrical, mining, or construction industries would be highly regarded. Experience in Work Health Safety & Environment – preferably on project work Strong grasp of Australian WHSE legislation, risk management, and incident investigation and Safety Management Systems. Previous exposure in internal and external auditing. Proven communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. ICAM Training Commitment to a zero-harm safety culture and a proactive approach to safety. Ability to travel, a valid car license, and a White Card.
