We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our Community Engagement Team on a temporary basis for 1–3 months, with the potential to become permanent. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on event experience, return to the workforce, or work school-friendly hours in a supportive environment. A little bit about the role: Working closely with the Head of Events and as part of the Community Engagement Team, the Event Coordinator supports the planning, coordination and delivery of a wide range of School and community events. The role contributes across event planning, administration, marketing, budgets, risk management and post-event reporting, ensuring all events are delivered to a high standard and align with Shore’s mission and values. You will collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders including the Shore Foundation, Shore Parents’ Association and Shore Old Boys’ Union, as well as external suppliers and contractors. To be successful, you will: Be available to commence promptly and commit to the duration of the 1–3 month contract Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail Be confident using everyday workplace technology, including Microsoft Outlook and event or project planning systems (or willing to learn quickly) Be comfortable stepping into a busy events environment and adapting quickly Communicate clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders Be reliable, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks within set timelines Have some flexibility to support occasional events held outside standard hours (with notice) Demonstrate professionalism, discretion and respect for confidentiality Our Commitment to you: At Shore, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing and growth of our staff.
