What you build here directly impacts thousands of Australian business owners every single day. The Role We’re hiring a Junior Statistician / Modelling Analyst to join our Risk and Modelling team. This is a hands-on graduate role, ideal for recent graduates including those with overseas qualifications who want real exposure, real responsibility, and rapid learning. You’ll work closely with our Director of Modelling and experienced analysts, gaining end to end exposure across credit risk and decisioning models in a fast-moving fintech environment. What You’ll Do Build, test, and improve credit risk and decisioning models Work with real lending data, from preparation to deployment Monitor model performance and spot trends and improvement opportunities Help create dashboards, reports, and clear model documentation Turn complex analysis into insights for senior stakeholders Learn best-practice modelling, validation, and governance standards What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, or Applied Mathematics (Overseas qualifications welcome) Strong quantitative foundation and interest in modelling Exposure to modelling through university projects or internships Working knowledge of Python, R, SQL , or similar Curious, detail oriented, and eager to learn Clear communicator who enjoys working with data and people (1–2 years of lending or modelling experience is a plus, but not required) What You’ll Get Direct mentorship from senior modellers A real seat at the table, your work will matter Hybrid working (1 day WFH) Supportive, inclusive, fast-paced culture CBD office, snacks, team events, and wellbeing initiatives Strong career growth in a growing fintech Apply now if this sounds like you
