We are currently recruiting for an Aged Care Team Leader for a Not for profit organisation in the Eastern Suburbs. The focus of this role would be to provide operational leadership and support to a team of ~50 Support Workers who work with older people. This is a hands on role, encompassing elements such as compliance, quality and workforce management. Details of the role: Full Time, Permanent position Work in the Eastern Suburbs for a Not for Profit organisation Salary - $95k plus super and salary packaging. Salary, based on the SCHADS Award – Level 4. Possibility to do 1 day per week work from home Work closely with other senior leadership within the organisation About the organisation: This organisation runs a variety of programs within the aged care and disability area. They support in the region of 500 clients as well as those who live in SIL accommodation and those requiring Community Support. They help older people who have Support at Home packages, to continue to live in the community and they also support people with a disability within the NDIS Scheme. Duties: Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for a team of Aged Care Support Workers. Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-one supervision, and performance discussions. Actively mentor, coach and support staff to deliver high quality, person-centred care. Participate in the recruitment and selection of Aged Care Support Workers to ensure a skilled and values-aligned workforce. Oversee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure new staff are effectively inducted into the organisation’s culture, systems, and service expectations. Identify the training and skill development needs of Support Workers Monitor the quality and effectiveness of services to ensure client outcomes are achieved. Collaborate with rostering and other team coordinators to ensure cross-program resource sharing and service continuity. Ensure compliance with regulatory, legislative and organisational quality standards, policies and procedures. Build positive and professional relationships with all stakeholders. Requirements: Experience leading, coordinating, or supervising frontline care staff Strong understanding of best practice in aged care service delivery Proven skills in training, workforce development, and staff support Excellent knowledge of the SCHADS award On Offer: Full Time, Permanent position working for a not for profit organisation Salary - $95k plus super and salary packaging.
