We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Employment Coach to join our Inclusive Employment Australia program at our Frankston site , where you will make a meaningful and lasting impact on people’s lives. In this role, you will work closely with participants to understand their individual circumstances, build confidence and skills, and connect them with tailored employment opportunities. You will also collaborate with employers and service providers to support inclusive workplace outcomes while meeting program requirements and performance targets. Key responsibilities: Provide onetoone coaching, guidance and needs assessments to help participants overcome barriers to employment. Support with career planning to enhance job readiness skills, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies. Engage with employers and stakeholders to source, match and broker suitable employment opportunities. Deliver individual case management and facilitate referrals to services addressing vocational and nonvocational barriers. Provide ongoing postplacement support to promote sustained employment. About You You work well independently while contributing positively to a supportive team. You bring enthusiasm, empathy and a genuine commitment to helping people with diverse needs achieve meaningful employment. With strong administration skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and performance targets, you’re confident working in a fastpaced, participantfocused environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate: Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Selfmotivated, organised and able to manage deadlines and competing priorities. Skilled in interpersonal communication, negotiation and resolving issues with practical, innovative solutions. Lived experience of disability or experience supporting people with disability. Understanding of employment barriers and the ability to work respectfully with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Key screening requirements: Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check. Tertiary qualification in Disability or Community Services or willing to actively work towards a qualification. Be eligible to work in Australia.
