We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Fruit Farm Worker to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Fruit Farm Worker, you will be responsible for the cultivation, harvesting, and packing of bananas. You will work closely with our experienced team to ensure the highest quality produce is grown and delivered to our customers. Key Responsibilities: - Plant, maintain, and harvest fruits according to farm standards and procedures - Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment - Irrigate, fertilize, and weed crops as required - Identify and report any crop diseases or pests to the supervisor - Pick and pack fruits according to size, color, and quality standards - Load and unload fruits onto trucks for transportation - Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Assist with general farm duties as needed Requirements: - A minimum of 1 year experience in fruit farming or agricultural work - Certificate I in horticulture/agriculture is preferred - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team - Good communication and time management skills - Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends when required - Knowledge of farm machinery and equipment is an asset - Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of $67000 to $77000 per year for this full-time position.
