Managing Risk and broader Integrity-related components is essential to enable the ASC in achieving our strategic goals. Are you up for the challenge? About the team - the Risk, Fraud and Resilience team sits within the Governance & Risk Branch and is responsible for providing effective guidance, coordination and governance over ASC systems, processes and structures the ASC has established or are implementing which support the ASC towards achieving its strategic and operational objectives. About the role - You will be responsible for providing risk management advice and oversight of the ASC's Risk, Fraud and Corruption Control, Business Continuity and Crisis Management Frameworks. Further, you will assist with the regular reporting on the Risk, Fraud and Resilience functions to the Executive and Accountable Authority (the ASC Board). Where required, you will conduct investigations into fraud and corrupt conduct whilst also providing guidance on broader integrity issues across the ASC. In consultation with team managers, you will work to implement the ASC's strategic agenda for uplifting the risk and integrity profile within the entity. About you - You will be a motivated individual and enjoy working in a high-volume area with excellent attention to detail, strong analysis/critical thinking and report-writing skills to assist in the management of Risk, Fraud and Resilience related functions. The successful candidate will have: Demonstrated experience within Risk Management and associated Frameworks including regular reporting to Senior Executive and the Accountable Authority. Demonstrated experience in providing practical risk guidance to various business areas to improve risk positions. Knowledge, understanding and practical application of relevant legislation and policies related to Risk Management, Fraud and Corruption, Business Continuity & Crisis Management. Demonstrated experience in conducting Investigations into fraudulent or corrupt conduct with the writing of associated reports for decision making. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to use these to develop productive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The following criteria are desired: Certificate IV in either Risk Management or Government Investigations or the ability to obtain. Other tertiary or similar qualifications within Crisis Management and/or Business Continuity. Baseline Security Clearance (obtain and maintain). This position is offered as an Ongoing position.
