Kerman Contracting is seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our Team. In this role you will see yourself responsible for providing planning, progress updates and comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for the project. As a Scheduler with Kerman, you will have the following benefits: 18 months fixed term (potential to go longer) with leave accrual (Annual Leave and Sick Leave) Weekly FIFO travel from Perth Attractive Base Hourly Rate Attractive completion bonus (on Base) paid out on project completion Salary sacrifice opportunities Strong and diverse project pipeline Supportive team structure consisting of Head Office staff as well as site-based employees Work in interesting projects for Tier 1 clients Roles, Duties and Responsibilities: Using Primavera P6, develop a project baseline schedule based on the tender program scope of works, drawings, client’s scheduling requirements, and estimated labour hour Early identification of risk factors associated with activities, and communication to the Project Manager and Site Manager Lead in creating comprehensive and realistic project schedules complete with crucial milestones, links, dependencies, critical path, resource and commodity loading and ensure alignment to the Construction Methodology Provide project managers with timely, informed, and up-to-date progress information, including Quantity Man-hour Reports (QMR) and Earned Value Management Create comprehensive weekly and monthly reports to the client including baseline progress updates, critical path, 3-week lookahead, manning histograms, QMR, progress highlights & summaries, etc Proactively liaise with Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors to maintain project schedules and continually monitor the “actual” against the “planned” progress About you: Relevant engineering degree or trade background is highly desirable 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role Excellent Primavera P6 and Excel skills Navisworks or familiarity with various modelling software would be an advantage Why chose Kerman for your next career step: We are a stable, Perth-based business with diverse and engaging projects to enhance your skills and experience in a positive working environment.
