We’re hiring a Perth-based Software Trainer to deliver training on a specialised, mission-critical communications platform used across justice facilities in Western Australia. This role sits in a regulated government environment , supporting a global platform within a small, well-run Australian team with strong international backup. It’s a hybrid role (Perth office WFH) with some travel to WA sites, primarily Perth-based. This is not generic corporate L&D or click-through e-learning. You’ll be delivering real, instructor-led training to real users, helping operational teams confidently use secure systems in a complex environment. What you’ll be doing • Delivering engaging face-to-face and virtual instructor-led training across up to 18 WA justice sites • Training varied user groups (operational, admin, finance, advanced users & train-the-trainer) • Localising and continuously improving training materials based on feedback and performance outcomes • Assessing learner progress and adjusting content to maximise adoption • Running refresher and train-the-trainer sessions • Working closely with national and international technical teams as the platform evolves What we’re looking for • 2–5 years’ experience delivering software or technical training • Background in IT, SaaS, telecoms, or enterprise systems (advantageous) • Confident communicator who enjoys structured, customer-facing work • Comfortable presenting both on-site and virtually • Australian citizenship or permanent residency required due to the sensitive nature of the work Package & benefits • $85k–$100k base super (depending on experience) • Long-term, stable role with flexibility • Hybrid working (Perth WFH) with some WA travel • Full onboarding and train-the-trainer support from global teams • Exposure to international platforms and teams across Australia, Europe, and beyond If you’re open to a role offering clarity, stability, travel, and something genuinely different from standard IT or L&D work, let’s have a quick, confidential chat.
